According to Indian media the cricketers who participated from Sri Lanka for the IPL tournament were fail to show their talents this time. The Sunrise team captain Kumar Sangakkar was able to gain 15, 16, 23, 28 and 2 runs from the five matches. Because of this Sangakrar has given the captaincy to Kameran White and did not play for the match with Pune Warriors yesterday. Inplace of Sangakkar Quinted De Kon played yesterday for the match with Pune Warriors.

Due to injuries fast bowler Lasith Malinga also did not get any chance to play earlier, but he was able to get only two wickets from the last three matches he played. However Lasith Malinga showed brilliant performance in the previous IPL matches.

Delli DareDevils captain Mahela Jayawardana failed from all his five matches. So far Mahela played five matches in this IPL tournament but unfortunately he did not able to win even a single. According to media Ajantha mendis was not able to participate with a single match so far.
